LATEST IMAGES - TIGERS1

The end of November saw me (Phil) heading to India in search of Tigers with a group of Wildshot photographers. Bandahavgarh was our destination which is reputed to be currently the most reliable place in India to see Tigers. We were not disappointed seeing them on our first day from Elephant back. The second morning was quite special as I was lucky enough to be in one of only two jeeps that saw the dominant male Tiger come out of the Jungle and walk towards us along the dirt track getting within 10 yards of the jeep. The Tiger paid no attention to us even when we moved back a couple of times to let him walk along the track. Eventually he melted back into the Jungle. Looking on the info on my digital camera the experience had lasted 6 minutes and it will be forever etched in my memory.
