LATEST IMAGES - TIGERS2

As well as trying to see Tigers from jeeps it is also possible to view them from Elephants provided the local guides have managed to locate a Tiger. During our 6 days at Bandhavgarh a mother and four cubs kept to a relatively small area and on 4 of the days we saw them from Elephant back. The Tigers had become relatively used to the Elephants and did not move even when the Elephants approached to about 10 yards.

My last morning also gave me a good sighting of a male Tiger on the road. We were driving quite fast when we came upon the Tiger by the side of the road. After stopping very quickly and retrieving the camera I managed a few shots before it turned and walk away up the road only stopping to relieve itself. Again I was fortunate to be in one of the two jeeps who saw this Tiger
