LATEST IMAGES - MARCH

The Forest of Dean has a good wintering population of Hawfinches usually concentrated at a couple of sites under Hornbeam Trees. With the help of feeding from early January we have obtained some images of this secretive and rarely seen bird which we hope you will enjoy.

As well as Hawfinch the food brought in a good number of Chaffinch and a few Brambling including one with a white head.
