Flocks of Geese are one of the highlights of Norfolk in the winter. We spent a few days there recently but unfortunately our visit coincided with the foggiest weather in the UK for quite a while. Luckily we had one glorious sunset and most unusually the geese took off to their roost almost at the peak of the evening colour. As this was on our first evening, and the rest of the week we hardly saw another goose because of the fog, we really could have come home on the second day.
