LATEST IMAGES - NOVEMBER1

Donna Nook on the Lincolnshire coast is well known as the place to go to photograph Grey Seals. We had never been but a check of the weather forecast suggested the first weekend of November was set fair although we have been caught out before with 'good' forecasts. However the Met office had got it right and we were blessed with near perfect conditions, both with the weather and tide times. The Seals can either be viewed in the sand dunes very close to the car park or down on the surf line which involves a long walk over a very wet salt marsh. The walk though was definitely worth it with the seals allowing you to get very close to them. The first pup of the season was born on the 1st November so there were only a few around but last year there had been 995 born.
