LATEST IMAGES - SEPTEMBER1

If anybody is wondering what happened to August Images; there weren't any! Just lets say it wasn't the best month we have ever had but hopefully we can get out and about from now on.  Early September produced a number of exceptionally high tides and this allowed me to get close to a Curlew roost on the River Severn estuary. My only concern was to ensure I had a safe escape route if the tide was higher than I thought. Luckily I didn't get washed away and the Curlew did come reasonably close to the hide. Unfortunately from our side of the Severn to get any pictures these high tides have to occur in the afternoon/early evening and obviously with good light. As this doesn't happen very often it could be a while before I get another chance at this roost site.
