LATEST IMAGES - SEPTEMBER3

Every so often we meet up with a budding wildlife photography friend at Slimbridge for a day out or more precisely a good chin wag interspersed with lots of visits to the tea room. The latest visit coincided with some not great weather but very strong winds. Lots of the Mute Swans were on the channel leading up to the Swan Lake hide for those who know Slimbridge. The strong wind was blowing the Swans back towards the centre and then presumably, because there were too many Swans in a small piece of water, they would all take off and land at the far end of the channel. This went on for a couple of hours until the food truck appeared and stopped our fun. So we had to go and have another cup of tea and the obligatory bowl of soup!
