A female Mute Swan is currently sitting on eggs in the reeds at Cannop Pond in the Forest of Dean. The male seems to tolerates all of the other birds on the Pond except a small white farmyard duck. When this bird is on the pond the male swims round and round after the duck and occasionally will fly towards it and chase the duck away. Surprisingly the farmyard duck keeps coming back to the pond.
