Our Guide Emil found a Wryneck nest quite low down in a lovely marked tree. The nest was in deep shadow so a bit of fill in flash was called for. The Wryneck is an odd looking bird but extremely well camouflaged against t the tree bark. In the same area, we also came across an eastern Hedgehog which didn't like us getting too close.
