My return visit to Bulgaria in January saw a complete reversal in the weather from my November visit. This time it was raining heavily on my arrival but the sun shone for the rest of the week. My concern about the cold in January was completely unfounded as temperatures were well above freezing during the day with only a couple of mornings when we had to scrape the ice of the windscreen. As last time I saw Eagles every day from the village hide although some days the Eagles only came to feed after the sun had gone from the rocks. Dobry is going to try and find a site that gets the late afternoon light as the female seems to like her tea about 5.00PM after the light had gone from the current feeding site.
