LATEST IMAGES - JANUARY2

When the Eagles came to the bait there was very little warning as they didn't call and I had very little angle of view from the hide. The Eagles usually landed on the rocks with their feet in view but soon jumped behind the rocks where the bait was hidden. The Eagles would quite often stay for up to 30 minutes feeding and then fly off sometimes after a bit of preening but sometimes with no warning at all. Pictures of birds without feet are usually not ideal and these Eagles were no exception. To help me catch the Eagles when they first landed Dobry was watching what was going on and would give me one ring on the mobile phone. This was a great help as it is impossible to be on high alert all day and it also gave me time to eat the excellent Bulgarian chocolate from my picnic.
