I hadn't been to Minsmere for a number of years so armed with a good weather forecast, which for once proved to be accurate, I set off to Suffolk. The east hide provided some great photographic opportunities especially before the crowds arrived after which the birds retreated to a safer distance. The increase in the number of Avocets since my last visit was heartening.
