During a visit to an old school friend in Raleigh North Carolina I went to Mattamuskeet Reserve near the coast. This had lots of Tundra Swans and Snow Geese but they were too far away to photograph, however there were lots of other wildlife to photograph. Remarkably I met up, purely by chance, with an English photographer, Dave Courtenay, who had recently move to North Carolina. As well as spending time together at Mattamuskeet we also went for a few days to the coast while my friend was at work.
