Early January saw us both at Ushuaia, Southern Argentina, waiting for our boat to leave on a photographic cruise to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and Antarctica. The cruise was organized by Joe Van Os safaris and promised us a trip of a lifetime. Before we left on the MV Ushuaia we spent a couple of days around Ushuaia town and at Tierra Del Fuego National Park getting over the long trip and seeing some of the local bird life.
