Great Crested Grebes are not a common bird in the Forest of Dean but there are a few pairs about. This pair are well used to people as there are a number of fishing pontoons around their small lake. It wasn't long before the Grebes came very close and started feeding their three young. However not all the food the adults caught were for their young!
