At the Butt of Lewis we were pleased to see a number of immature Kittiwakes as they have been having a hard time recently. They repeatedly flew close to the small breeding Kittiwake colony hopefully prospecting for next year. The Herring gull was taken from the back of our boat and enticed in with mouldy cheese sandwiches!
