Red Squirrels are a favourite with most people including us. They make such good photographic subjects with their confiding nature and playful antics. We visited a site in southern Scotland very close to the M74 which is ideal for photography, the squirrels are regularly fed so are around most of the time at the feeding site, the site itself is relatively open and there is no problem with putting in new and varied branches for the squirrels to pose on. We do hope this will continue and it doesn't get swamped by photographers.
