Fallow deer are relatively easy to see in the Forest of Dean but photographing them is never easy as they are very wary of humans. Our semi-permanent hide has been very productive this autumn with the deer encouraged with a mineral salt lick, the only disappointment is the lack of bucks coming to the hide during the day.
