Black Legged Kittiwakes were constant companions during our trip to Svalbard, both on land and on following the ship. It was especially nice to see the juveniles coming into adult plumage as we had not seen this before. Surprisingly many of the Kittiwakes seemed to be attracted to the rubber knobs on top of the many aerials on the ship.
