As well as the Hummingbirds at Tandayapa reserve in the Andean cloud forest, there were plenty of birds in the forest canopy for us to try to photograph. Luis would call out the exotic name of a bird as it landed in the canopy and all we had to do was find it, get the camera into a reasonably good photographic position, take it and then remember its name, before the next one appeared. If only Luis could have got them to appear one at a time, in the open and made them stay a while until we had finished photographing them!
