LATEST IMAGES - FOREST OF DEAN1

Over the last few years there has been a drive to restore some of the original lowland heath in the Forest of Dean. Crabtree Hill is on of the best examples of this and the work there has resulted in the return of a number of previous rare species to the Forest including the Stonecat. These images were taken by standing on the path and waiting for the birds to come close. One of the biggest problems the ground nesting birds face is the increasing number of unleashed dogs and people ignoring the signs and walking through the undergrowth.
