LATEST IMAGES - ISLE OF SKYE1
We have never really explored the Isle of Skye, only briefly visiting on the way to other Hebridean Islands, but we put this right on a recent two week visit in November. The weather was typically Scottish, lots of rain, strong winds but a few good days to make the visit worth the long journey. The first week we based ourselves in the South of the Island and soon found the popular hotspots were still extremely busy even in November, goodness knows what it must be like in the summer. Fairy Pools on Glen Brittle was particularly busy with the car park full for most of the day, we didn't stop long and explored other much quieter Glens further down Glen Brittle.
