The reed beds of the Danube Delta hold good numbers of Little Bittern and we were fortunate to come across a number of them during my recent rip to the Delta with Saker Tours. I always find it odd that such a secretive bird allows the specially adapted boat to get close and doesn't scurry away into the reeds.
