The bears near Silver Salmon Lodge have not been hunted for a number of years so have no fear of the odd humans with their cameras and of the planes bringing them to and fro landing on the beach. The bears will occasionally come very close making for some interesting portraits. Once you become used to being so close to the bears it makes the photography so much easier.
