Bald Eagles are always nice to see but even better to be able to get close enough to photograph them without a hide. We encountered a couple such Eagles during our stay at Silver Salmon Lodge. It is a pity they don't give much of a clue when they are going to take off as we waited for the adult to fly for quite a while and then, as usual, it flew away from us! Most days there were fresh wolf tracks on the beach and on the last morning we did see one on the beach in the distance which was a fitting end to our visit to Silver Salmon Lodge.
