Occasionally other birds than Ruff did come in range. We also had an afternoon, and I am still not quite sure how it happened, going to see Owls. Thanks to Finnature for organising this and for Taru, the guide, for driving us along some very small and wet tracks to get there, it was real bonus and also nice to get out and see some of the scenery around Oulu. The Tengmalm's Owl was a first for me and was in a natural looking nest box.
