Another highlight, and there were so many, during our trip to Queensland was watching Red-tailed Black-Cockatoos coming into roost. We found a roost near Maryfarms and a pre roost site near Mareeba. The latter one was better for photography as the Cockatoos were flying around in better light and we could get closer to them. We also were able to photograph them against a lovely evening sky.
