During our stay at Tandayapa we made a couple of visits to the feeding site at San Tadeo which was very productive, especially for Tanagers. Unfortunately one day the clouds had rolled in making all the images look a bit unclear so we concentrated on perched Hummingbirds to cut down the distance from our lenses to the subjects. There are a number of similar sites within range of Tandayapa, including an Andean Cock-of-the-Rock site and it would have been nice to visit a few of these. Maybe another visit to Ecuador is on the cards!
