RSPB Minsmere is well known for its Bearded Reedlings and we were not disappointed as we saw good numbers of them from the path and heard them 'pinging' in the reed beds. We were a bit surprised to see a pair feeding on the ground on the edge of the path and were not sure if they were after grit or seeds.
