CHOBE WITH PANGOLIN

The Chobe River in Botswana is famous for its Elephants which come down to drink and eat especially during the dry season. We visited Pangolin on the Chobe River at the beginning of the dry season and we were treated to many close encounters with these magnificent animals especially on our afternoon boat trips. They drank from the river, swam and fed in it and seemed to enjoy cooling down in its waters. When they were in deeper water they seemed to use their truck as a Snorkel!
