KHWAI

Whilst at Khwai we went on a Mekoro traditional canoe although they are all in fibreglass now in an effort to save the trees they were traditionally made out of. It was very pleasant drifting slowly down a river channel but not overly productive photographically The highlight was an Elephant eating reeds in the river with the swish of the trunk washing the reeds very soothing. The guide took great delight in showing us the tiny Reed Frogs (they were barely an inch long) and of course, receiving his tip!
