We also visited RSPB Freiston Shore during our recent trip to Lincolnshire. The tides were not high enough during our visit to push the birds onto the lake which was a shame but we were delighted to see Goldeneye on the lake especially as the males were displaying. Ideally they would have been closer but they did drift into camera range on a number of occasions and the light was ideal.
