Probably the highlight of our visit to the Somerset Levels was the Otter we saw at Westhay Reserve. Luckily we were being very quiet and were well back from the front of a viewing screen photographing Goosander when an Otter swam right in front of us. We watched it go into the reeds and it spent quite a while diving and eating although we weren't sure what it was catching. We could even hear it munching its dinner, all in all this was a magical encounter.
