Norfolk is one of the UK's stronghold for Barn Owls so after a few days of not seeing one we were getting a little anxious we wouldn't see any. Thankfully we came across three hunting in a single field during the day, just as the most tremendous rain storm started. We were surprised the Owls carried on hunting but it did give us some more unusual images. When the rain stopped one of the Owls came very close to us in the car and it is one of the few times we have both managed to fill the buffer of the Canon R5. The last image is a Barn Owl we found asleep on an electric fence post in the middle of the day, we went past again 2 hours later and it was still there!
