In July we embarked on our last Covid delayed trip which was to Singapore and West Papua. Singapore always sounded a fascinating place so we stopped for a few days on the way to West Papua. Singapore was an intriguing place but not as productive photographically as we had hoped and it was exceedingly hot and very energy sapping. We visited the Botanic Gardens, the Harbour area, Gardens by the Bay and Dairy Farm Nature Reserve among others, all our transport was via the very easy to use Underground System or on foot. We also bizarrely strolled up the final straight of the forthcoming Singapore Grand Prix circuit while watching a big Firework display.
