Malayan Water Monitors were very common in Singapore and would pop out of the undergrowth almost anywhere. Dragonflies were also abundant and it has taken us a while to identify them unfortunately we didn't succeed with the Orange Butterfly at the bottom of the page. It was also a pity we never saw any of the Otters which frequent Singapore, despite much searching!
