Skokholm Island off the West coast of Pembrokeshire, Wales is always a joy to visit at any time of the year. The birds, the company and the warm welcome from the wardens, together with the superb accommodation and, this time at least, the great weather makes our at least annual visit one of the highlights of the year. We try to go at different times and this year saw us on Skokholm towards the end of the migration period and just as the Puffins were starting to bring in Sandeels to feed their chicks.
