Firstly, we would like to introduce ourselves. We are a husband and wife photography team based in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. This is a great area for wildlife so we really enjoy capturing images of the local animals and birds we find either out in the Forest or within our own garden. We are lucky to have a wide range of interesting species in the area such as Hawfinches, Mandarin Ducks, Pied Flycatchers and Nightjars. Mammal wise, we enjoy photographing the local deer, mainly Fallow but more recently they have been joined by Muntjac and Roe Deer as well as the Wild Boar which now frequent the Forest, although they are not as easy to find as everyone assumes!
We also travel extensively to various locations around the world. We are particularly fond of Finland and Iceland which we have visited on numerous occasions at various times of the year. Our all-time favourite photographic location is South Georgia, it really is a stunning location full of really great wildlife that can be photographed against the fantastic backdrop of mountain and glaciers.
Although our focus is mainly on birds and mammals we do also attempt to photograph all forms of the Natural World. We have also recently started branching out into the field of landscape photography which is a new area we are enjoying.
