The hotel we stayed in at Lalibela was not the best we used during our trip to Ethiopia but it had great grounds for birding even though they were small and in town. A hotel worker put out food for the birds and there was a terrace from which we could look down on the birds in the spectacular Jacaranda trees. Even though we didn't have much time for photography here, we managed a good number of reasonable images.
