Our wildlife photography trip to Ethiopia with Wildlife Worldwide included a couple of days looking round the rock hewn churches in Lalibela. While not really our cup of tea we were certainly impressed with them and glad we had made to effort to see all of these seemingly never ending churches. They were difficult to photograph as you couldn't get very far away from them so a tilt and shift lens would have been very useful. There was a priest inside most of the churches who, for a donation, would pose for photographs. Again not really our type of photography but it was fun having a go.
