A male Common Pheasant has been spending much of its time in our garden recently and especially under the bird feeder. It has probably come from the released ones at a local estate and occasionally there is a female around as well.. The males tail is shorter than it should be so maybe it had a lucky escape from the guns. It has become relatively tame and does allow us to get reasonably close without a hide.
