Sandymouth beach was probably our favourite spot during our recent stay near Hartland Point in Devon. The beach was only exposed during low tide and even then to get the sand you had to wade across a channel. The only down side was it was obviously a very popular spot, particularly with dog owners, so you had to try and be first on the beach and walk as far away from the access point as possible to ensue footprint free sand.
