There are five viewing platforms on the cliff tops at Bempton RSPB Reserve in Yorkshire which give a safe view of the Gannets. Only a couple give close enough views for photography of the Gannets on the cliffs, one is best in the morning and one in the afternoon. There were a couple of other places along the cliff top walk where we would occasionally get a clear enough shot of a Gannet on the cliffs. This was especially so in the early morning or late afternoon when the considerable number of visitors, who had no doubt come to see the new visitor centre as well as the birds, had diminished.
