On our previous visits to Iceland the Reykjanes peninsula has not been somewhere we have spent much time as we are usually travelling go straight from Keflavik airport to our final destination. This time I had a day between the end of the Northshots photographic trip and Helen flying out to join me. Seltun geothermal area was good photographically but unfortunately the weather was not good and I only had half a day before the rain came down in epic proportions. Still I saw enough to give it another chance next time!
