LATEST IMAGES - OUTER HEBRIDES4

Many of the photographic opportunities on the Outer Hebrides are of birds on posts using the car as a mobile hide. You can always spot the photographers driving around the Outer Hebrides as they usually have one person in the front and one in the back so both can take images of the birds. Corn Buntings are getting ever rarer on North Uist and we wish the RSPB every success in trying to stop the decline of this UK bird with such a distinctive song. Oystercatchers certainly do not seem in decline as they appeared to be everywhere, so much so their incessant calling almost became annoying!
