LATEST IMAGES - PORTUGAL5

Whimbrel were common on the tidal pools and mud flats around the Algarve during my recent winter visit. Curlew were also around but in much smaller numbers and more wary of my mobile hide/car. Grey Plovers were present in small numbers, some were very tolerant while others moved away as soon as I stopped the car, as usual the tolerant ones were always in the worst position and in the worst light.
