Salt pans are usually a good place to head for bird photography and those around Tavira in Portugal gave me some good opportunities. The drivable banks were quite high so I struggled to get my preferred low viewpoint and there was major road works alongside potentially the best ones but I was particularly pleased to come across a relatively tame Greenshank.
