Glen Meavig on North Harris is home to an eagle watch hide about 2km up a good track from the car park on the main road. During our walk we saw both Golden and White tailed eagle along with the only pair of Stonechats we saw on Harris. We also visited the island of Scalpay as this was our first visit since the new bridge was completed, so that we could walk out to the lighthouse there.
