St Kilda is a magical place and we felt honoured to be able to visit it for a second time this May. There is no safe anchorage during south easterly winds so a constant eye on the weather is needed both for the voyage and the stay. We were lucky and had two days anchored in the bay even though getting out and back, and especially sailing around the stacks, tested our stomachs to the full.
