You cannot land on the sea stacks or on Boreray so any pictures of them are taken from the main island Hirta or from a boat near to them. When we sailed close to them photography was a liitle difficult to say the least as the prime aim was to stay on the boat!. Horizons were very crooked on many of our photographs but the experience to be so close to the sea stacks packed with sea birds was well worth fear factor 10.
